Obama dances around jobs question at Cape Girardeau
The final question for Sen. Barack Obama during his town hall meeting in Cape Girardeau came from a woman who wants to know what he will do to replace lost jobs.
Obama seems to be circling around the question, taking a shot or two at his Republican opponent John McCain, but not directly answering the woman. Obama proposed spending $15 billion a year to help companies expand in new energy directions, creating new jobs.
Obama does not appear to be as comfortable in this kind of intimate setting as either Hillary Clinton or John McCain.
And sadly, John Edwards was the only candidate who was really trying to address the jobs situation and he was labeled as "angry" and "radical" for doing so.
