Most of Stevenson money came from Sinquefield committees

Rep. Bryan Stevenson, R-Webb City, raised $11,075 during the last quarter, with most of that money coming from shell committees set up by retired billionaire Rex Sinquefield.

The Sinquefield committees contributed $7,475 to Stevenson, according to documents filed today with the Missouri Ethics Commission.

Stevenson reported spending $10,117.03, including $1,350 each to statewide candidates Brad Lager and Michael Gibbons, $50 to gubernatorial candidate Kenny Hulshof, and $650 to Jasper County Public Administrator Rita Hunter.

Stevenson had $4,361.07 in his account at the end of the reporting period.
