TV cameras approved for former Jasper County deputy's arraignment

Television cameras will be in the courtroom Sept. 4 when former Jasper County deputy Milton Ganz is arraigned on charges of assault on a law enforcement officer and unlawful use of a weapon.
Judge Richard Copeland issued the decision following a pool request from KOAM, according to court records.
Ganz was arrested following a confrontation with Joplin police officers at his home. Ganz' wife called police saying her husband had a gun and was talking about committing suicide. When the police arrived, Ganz aimed the weapon at them before being shot.
