You won't find it on one of those 48-hour reports for $5,000 donations, but Democratic attorney general candidate Chris Koster received $5,000 from Ameristar Casinos on Aug 28.
The reason Koster did not report it until his 30-day-after report today, was the way in which the contribution was made. He received $2,500 from Ameristar Casinos-Kansas City and $2,500 from Ameristar Casinos, St. Charles.
Koster received $284,668.11 during the last reporting period, and spent $75,414.35, leaving him with $226,109.10.
