The next court date for David Wesley Spears, 25, who is accused of the brutal rape and murder of his nine-year-old stepdaughter Rowan Ford of Stella, is set for Dec. 3 in Pulaski County Circuit Court, according to documents filed today.
A date for Spears' trial will be set that day, the record indicates.
The other defendant in the case, Chris Collings, 34, Wheaton, a friend of Spears', is being tried in Phelps County.
