The Democratic Governors Association contributed $600,000 to Attorney General Jay Nixon Friday, according to a 48-hour report filed today with the Missouri Ethics Commission.

The total matches the amount contributed by the Republican Governors Association to Nixon's opponent, Congressman Kenny Hulshof.

Nixon received $670,000 in contributions, according to the report, including $50,000 from IUPAT, (International Union of Painters and Allied Trades) Washington, D. C.; and $20,000 from Landon Rowland, president of Stilwell Financial Services, Kansas City.
