Neosho banker Rudy Farber continued to make the most of the new law allowing unlimited contributions to politcians.
With a $10,000 contribution to Republican state treasurer candidate Brad Lager reported on Missouri Ethics Commission documents filed today, Farber has chipped in at least $45,000 since the limits were tossed on Thursday. Farber, whose hefty contributions undoubtedly played a role in his appointment to the Missouri Highway Commission by Gov. Matt Blunt, has also contributed $25,000 to Kenny Hulshof and $10,000 to Michael Gibbons.
The Farber contribution is the second $5,000+ contribution for Lager, who also received $7,500 from the Nodaway Valley Bank in Maryville.
