Hulshof announces Missouri's vote for McCain

Congressman Kenny Hulshof, getting a national stage for his candidacy for governor, gave Missouri all of its 58 votes bringing John McCain within 46 votes of the 1,190 needed to officially win the Republican presidential nomination.

Hulshof called himself "a reformer" in the John McCain mode, described himself as Missouri's Republican candidate for governor and then announced the voting.

Shortly after Missouri's vote as the 1,190 number approached, states began passing to give McCain's home state of Arizona the privilege of putting their senator over the top.
