A 9:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, pre-trial conference has been scheduled in Newton County Circuit Court for Randall Danny Russell, minister of Acts II Church in Neosho, who is charged with six counts of possession of child pornography, and two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Russell also faces a Dec. 16 jury trial in McDonald County Circuit Court, on a change of venue from Newton County, on seven counts of statutory sodomy and two counts of child molestation. The next hearing in that case is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 31.
All of the crimes are alleged to have taken place with members of Russell's church.
