Washington County, Okla., court records indicate a 2 p.m. Nov. 17 plea hearing has been scheduled for Benji Trammel, 30, Bartlesville, who is charged with domestic abuse and battery.
Trammel was one of two Quapaw, Okla. teenagers involved in throwing a rock from an overpass through the window of a car driven by Sheila Mayfield, 25, Jasper, and killing her instantly in January 1994.
Trammel was 15 at the time, one year too young to be tried as an adult under Oklahoma law, so he pleaded guilty in juvenile court, spent time in a juvenile detention facility, and was released at age 18.
