Rangeline bypass to open Monday

The Range Line bypass, or Route 249, opens to traffic Monday, according to a news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation:

A ribbon-cutting ceremony and dedication is planned for 9 a.m. The public is invited to attend.

Speakers scheduled include Congressman Roy Blunt, Sen. Gary Nodler, Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce President Rob O'Brian, Joplin Museum Complex Director Brad Belk and MoDOT District Engineer Becky Baltz.
