While I am not one of those who thought the last debate with Tom Brokaw as moderator was a total disaster, Bob Schieffer, as he was when he was anchor for the CBS Evening News, is a breath of fresh air.
He is providing class and professionalism, while not chiding the candidates as Brokaw did continually.
Schieffer is also letting the candidates fully discuss subjects rather than cutting them off mid-sentence.
If the debate continues this way, it will be the best during what has seemed to be an endless campaign season.
