Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder is pulling in 57 percent of the vote to 40 percent for Dr. Sam Page, though only 10 precincts are listed. John McCain has the early lead in the presidential race with 58 percent to 40 for Barack Obama.
Other leaders in the early voting are: Robin Carnahan, Democrat, secretary of state; Brad Lager, Republican, state treasurer; Mike Gibbons, Republican, attorney general; and Jay Nixon, Democrat, governor.
