McCain, Nixon lead in early Missouri results

Ticket splitting is rampant in the early state voting results.

With one Missouri precinct reporting, Jay Nixon has a big lead over Kenny Hulshof...but Barack Obama leads John McCain by virtually the same amount. Ticket splitting is also evident on the lower ballot races, with early leads for Republican Peter Kinder for lieutenant governor, Democrat Robin Carnahan for secretary of state and Republicans Brad Lager and Mike Gibbons for state treasurer and attorney general, respectively.
