Accused child killer Chris Collings will have to give a hair sample to the prosecution team in his capital murder trial.
Phelps County Judge Mary Sheffield issued the ruling today during a pre-trial hearing. Collings is accused of the brutal murder and forcible rape of nine-year-old Rowan Ford of Stella in November 2007. His trial is scheduled for Feb. 23, 2010, with the next scheduled pre-trial hearing set for July 24, 2009.
Collings' hair sample will be collected 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at the Barry County Jail, according to court records.
