The big ticket contributions on Sen. Gary Nodler's quarterly report, filed today with the Missouri Ethics Commission, have already been noted in The Turner Report, but it never hurts to go over them again.
The report showed the Joplin Republican $84,950 in contributions since the 30 day after the election filing, and spent $80,796.25, leaving him with $92,095.44 in his campaign account (or war chest as the Joplin Globe calls it).
The biggest contributions were $25,000 from David Humphreys of TAMKO and $10,000 from billionaire Rex Sinquefield's Missourians for Tax Reform PAC.
Nodler played PAC Man with many major special interests, according to the report. His other contributions included:

Life Science Fund of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce $2,000

Mark Rhoads, lobbyist, $500
Union Pacific Railroad two contributions totaling $3,000
Ameren UE two contributions totaling $5,000
Freeman Physicians Group $3,000
Kansas City Power & Light $2,500
Missouri Association of Rehabilitation Facilities $1,000
Ameristar Casinos $1,500
Nodler also received $5,000 on Oct. 17, in the form of 10 $500 contributions from various nursing homes.
Most of Nodler's expenditures were in the form of contributions to various Republican candidates for State Senate and for statewide office.
