It's too early to call GateHouse Media the darling of the penny stocks, but the company reached its highest point in weeks Monday.
Unfortunately, that high point was just eight cents per share on the Pink Sheets, up one cent from Friday.
Gatehouse, which owns The Carthage Press and Neosho Daily News, among more than 300 publications in the U. S., was delisted by tne New York Stock Exchange after consistently trading for less than one dollar per share for several months.
