Supreme Court ruling reinstates $550,000 fine against KOAM, KOLR, CBS stations in Janet Jackson case

The U. S. Supreme Court ruling last week, overruling an Appeals Court decision to toss out a $550,000 fine for indecency against CBS stations that aired the 2004 Super Bowl, could end up costing KOAM and KOLR a chunk of change.

The fine, of course, was levied following the halftime show in which Justin Timberlake ripped clothing off Janet Jackson, exposing one of her breasts.
