Globe focuses on improving Monday paper

In her latest blog post, Joplin Globe Editor Carol Stark talks about the moves that are being made to improve her newspaper's traditionally weak Monday edition. This has been a recent focus of Globe editors:

Monday seems like a good day to give our Opinion Page readers something extra, like a lot of letters and a perhaps, via a letter, highlight a local issue.
We also have a travel series planned for the summer that will run on Mondays.
