I have no idea where he is going to be or who will be there, but Dave Catanese at KYTV tweeted that Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S. C., he f the "You Lie" fame, is accompanying Seventh District Congressman Roy Blunt to Joplin tonight as part of Blunt's campaign for U. S. Senate.
Catanese tweets that his 4 p.m. interview with Wilson was canceled so Blunt could take Wilson to Joplin.
The Springfield News-Leader's Chad Livengood did get an interview with Wilson and tweets that the Congressman is "a lot calmer in person" than he was during President Barack Obama's speech to Congress.
If the guy truly was sorry for his outburst, as he said he was, he would do the honorable thing and refused to be used as a campaign prop for others solely based on the fact that he made the outburst in the first place.
ReplyDeleteUnless, of course, "you lie!" is something we can truly lob at Wilson himself, with respect to his apology.
It official. Wilson stomping for Blunt...that definetly secured my vote for someone other than Blunt!
ReplyDeleteThe "You Lie" guy is the perfect man to be hanging around with Roy Blunt. Or any Blunt for that matter. None can be trusted unless a lobbiest is handing them money.
ReplyDeleteRandy,
ReplyDeleteSee my Twitter feed. I have some new details about Joe Wilson's trip to Jasper County...

I will check that out. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteSorry I missed meeting Wilson...I was home watching reruns of Obama spending several million dollars to fall flat on his face in Denmark...while those he is to serve are beating the streets looking for a job.
ReplyDeleteAre they PROUD of this guy, who can't even keep his mouth shut when the President of the U.S. is speaking to a joint session of Congress on matters of importance to us all?
ReplyDeleteHave these people no shame?
Did "The Joplin Globe" cover the story about Wilson/Blunt at all?
