Thanks...found it. Any idea as to where it all goes from here? Was bond revoked? Next court date? Keep us updated.

We haven't seen the end of the charges on this guy. Jeff Merrell has said he can file more at any time, and he probably will keep on.

Thank you so much for reporting on this. We live in Dallas and have seen no local coverage despite the number of local children who go to Kanakuk. Why do you think it hasn't received more national attention?

What sentences to these 5 Class C felonies and 2 Class D felonies bring?

And when will this ever get to trial?

When re-arrested today on the new charges bond was set at $250,000 and then reduced to $50,000. Does anyone know why?

Also, why did Pete and his wife move to Memphis? What is their Memphis connection?

He WAS living in Memphis before the first charges were filed in Sept., but NOW? Don't think so. Friends of his family say he's sometime with his parents in Ohio and sometimes with his in-laws in Georgia.

Does anyone know if his wife Katie is still with him?

Katie was with him in court on October 29 and signed the signature bond that day. Not sure if she was with him yesterday (Nov 17). I have heard she is standing with him...but, not sure exactly what that means.

The link above is to the new counts filed. Unbelievable the things he has gotten away with for so long under our noses!!!
He is SICK and needs to be locked away! Everyone says his family is so great, then why are they allowing him to continue instead of just pleading guilty? I hate that everytime he comes back to town we all run the risk of running in to him.

After these latest charges, are they STILL supporting him? At what point do you just wash your hands and tell your husband/brother/whatever to go take your medicine!

Do your crime. Pay your time. It's pretty simple.

This animal is a coward, out to devour whoever he can. Someone capable of these atrocities isn't even worthy of being referred to as a human being.

Lock him up in a cage. Don't let him out. Or better yet, throw him to the wolves like those camp children were thrown to THIS WOLF, unknowingly.

Someone suggested slow, methodical torture. This would be just, b/c this is what he's putting literally thousands of people through. Maybe he'll get just that in prison!

Sad thing is that he's probably at his tricks this very day with some unsuspecting child and their family wherever he is since they've let him out of jail. He obviously can't stop himself, so why do we "trust" him with the rules now???? He should ALREADY be on every sex offender registry in the world!
