You've got to wonder how Booze Beat got at the top of the list of best blogs.
I'm pretty sure the Globe rigged the results, depending on who might run thank-you ads. It's also a travesty that that Turner Report was not mentioned, and that a blog I've never even heard of was listed twice.
It appears that the winning selections in each category were listed in alphabetical order.
Seriously, I don't know how http://joplinmo.tumblr.com/ made the Globe's favorites list. Never heard of it until now.
The readers favorites is a joke! Who voted, I'll tell you the same six people, over and over and over and over and over again! It's a joke has no merit!
A joke - rigged by the Globe as a propaganda stunt. I ain't buying it. This blog is the most read in the area, not anything the Globe writers produce (and I love Scott Meeker's column). Stupid drivel, this list... Might as well be a Globe house ad.
i thought the same thing. in the past the favorites seemed a bit more like a real vote by the people. it did seem like a paid ad this time.
