On top of it all, the current bill allows our youngest among us to be exterminated through taxpayer funding. The congressional plan will save money by “weeding out the undesirables”. That’s why they fought to make sure abortion was covered in the senate bill. When we go to a national healthcare system, the first step is for government to gain greater control of our lives. The second step will be to define who is worthy of medical services. Even if you think it is okay for parents to destroy their offspring before birth, we ought to be concerned about what will happen to the disabled and elderly.

U. S. Senate passes health care reform bill by 60-39 vote
In a rare Christmas Eve session, the U. S. Senate, by a 60-39 partisan vote, approved a health care reform package. Missouri Rep. Cynthia Davis, R-O-Fallon, referred to the bill in this fashion:
Where you going to get your health care, under a bridge?
ReplyDeleteNa Democrat Hqts.
ReplyDeleteObama, thank you we've waited 70 yrs., not the answer but a start with out the support of one republican, may the good lord try to save their evil souls.
ReplyDeleteditto. thank you obama and the democrats.
ReplyDeleteWon't look so good when you see grandma/grandpa or mom/dad unable to get quality care because Medicare gets slashed $500 billion, and docs refuse to accept them as patients when the reimbursements get cut, and when you see inferior docs coming out of med schools because lower salaries cause quality students to go into business into medicine. I only hope we get a Republican majority in 2010 to reverse this nonsense that no one truly has read, yet dems still voted for. Would you go to the polls and vote blind? Oh, yeah, if you are a partisan (either party) you would. the devil is in the details.
ReplyDeleteright from the mouth of rush, whats getting to be funny is how absurd the right have become and how so insignificant, we all know medicare needs reform whiney ass repubs use to want to destroy it now they flip flop when reform is mentioned you gonna kill grandma. Now the docs. are already taking a pay cut, ie the freeman system, when ins. co. start applying 90% of funds toward healthcare where now it is 65%, old doc's wages should level out. And I would'nt hold your breath waiting on the pubs to take over, the old white people are gonna start dieing off on you.
ReplyDeletewhat planet was Ms. Davis from?
ReplyDeleteI watched an interview on CNN and the Democrat who was being inteviewed had this to say when asked his thoughts on healthcare, "I need a job, not healthcare" How true. Unfortunatly not only will this bill affect EVERYONE with increased taxes, it will also threaten the very existence of small business. I'm not an idiot, that claims things are fine the way they are, and reform isn't needed, it is needed, and has been for years, but how about both parties quit playing politics and come together on a bill that will truly benefit the American People.....new concept I know. Universal HC will not work, nor can we afford it! What ever happend to personal responsibility? I was raised in a family to take care of yourself, and family, not that others would take care of us. Yes, there was a time healthcare was not in the budget, guess what......we worked harder to make it in the budget....
ReplyDeleteAs far as the comment about Republicans evil souls.... good Really???? come on, I'm not demoncrat, I mean democrat, but I don't call you evil socialist communists.... or evil things like that.
Now see what happend..... I may have had some kind of credibility building until I went and said some idiotic comment like that.... So, lets try this.... intelligent conversation.... I respect everyones point of view if they can state it plainly, and truthfully. I dont like 60/40 politics, you know what that type of vote/conversation says to me???? "WARNING" in big bold letters!
if you don't have a job or a job that pays much, how do you take personal responsibility for your health care? you can't.
ReplyDeleteI was almost getting a thought from you till you had that second drink of koolaid.

Here's how you get a job to pay for your healthcare (and assume PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY) -- get an education!! Financial aid can be obtained by anyone these days, even if you have to take out loans, and you can work part-time to help. Tech schools, community colleges abound for those who don't want to attend a 4-year school, and A+ pays complete tuition for 2 years to a CC.
