Cherie Thomas Schenker, who worked for me at the Lamar Democrat, in 1989 and 1990, is featured in an article in this month's GRIT magazine.The article, entitled "Grassfed beef from Kansas farm feeds overseas soldiers," details how Cherie, whose husband, Kevin, is stationed overseas, has used her farming operation to support our troops.
