Springfield media out in full force for Pete Newman hearing

It is not the national media blitz that one would expect from a story like this, but all of the Springfield television stations are represented at the sentencing hearing for former Kanakuk Kamp director Pete Newman.

Former KOAM reporter Jennifer Denman is covering the story for KOLR and KSFX, the Springfield Nexstar Broadcasting stations, and as noted earlier in The Turner Report, KY3 and KSPR have been posting preview stories to set up today's coverage.

Some of Newman's victims are speaking out, according to Ms. Denman.

Just read that report. It also stated that psychologists testified as to why he committed the crimes. Which side would have introduced that testimony?

Jennifer Denman worked for KODE in Joplin not KOAM. Please correct this error.
