Nexstar Broadcasting stock, which was selling for $7.56 cents per share just two months ago, closed at $4.38 Wednesday.
It was a drop of 49 cents per share during the day, as Nexstar opened at $4.87 per share.
Nexstar Broadcasting owns KSNF in Joplin and KFSX in Springfield and operates KODE in Joplin and KOLR in Springfield.
