The eight-day before election report filed today with the Missouri Ethics Commission shows Shelley Dreyer has received nearly $60,000 in July, with more than $55,000 of that total coming from Missouri Freedom, which is associated with the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.
Twenty five thousand of that total was noted in a previous Turner Report post. That came in cash. The other $30,013 was an in-kind contribution, according to the report.
Of the $4,818 that did not come from Missouri Freedom, $2,719.70 came from lawyers, including a $1,219.70 in-kind contribution from Ms. Dreyer's employer, the Hershewe Law Firm of Joplin.
Ms. Dreyer spent $46,398.44 during the reporting period, with the largest expenditure, $40,155 going to Patrick Medlin, Marshfield, for an advertisement, according to the disclosure form.
Ms. Dreyer had $14,194.75 in the bank at the end of the period.
There goes tort reform
ReplyDeletewell hopefully people will research both the candidates
ReplyDeleteI LIKE Shelley Dreyer.
ReplyDeleteShellys the smartest candidate. That's what we need in Jeff City, and frankly, in Washington.
ReplyDeleteHere is the thing- Shelly has the "bitch" factor going for her ( and I mean that in a strong personality way. Bill is wishy washy and will go along with the flow.
ReplyDeleteWho is Dreyer going to represent...the trial attorneys PAC or the people of the 129th? What do the trial attorneys know about Shelly Dreyer that we don't? Not to mention the lawsuit for $35,000 she took from her former law partner. The last thing we need is another self-serving, corrupt politician whose vote is for sale!
ReplyDeleteWho is White going to represent...The Doctors PAC or the people of the 129th? What do the Doctors know about Bill White that we don't?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous do you have some inside information on this lawsuit? I have only seen her deposition transcript posted on these blog sites. Where are the others transcripts? Has Mr. & Mrs James even sat for their depositions? How can you say she "took" money with out having all the facts?
The last thing we need is another self- serving, corrupt politician named White whose vote is for sale!
