With only 192 of 3,387 precincts reporting, Seventh District Congressman Roy Blunt has taken a big lead over Chuck Purgason in the GOP U. S. Senate race.
Blunt has 72.1 percent, while his closest competitor, Sen. Chuck Purgason has 13 percent.
In the state auditor race, Tom Schweich has 17,131 votes or 57.3 percent to 12,756, 43.7 percent for Rep. Allen Icet.
