Long may not have built a big enough advantage

t was important that Billy Long administer a knockout blow to Jack Goodman in Greene and the surrounding counties. While Long has 40 percent of the vote thus far, Goodman is holding steady with 24 percent..

It also appears that Darrell Moore in third place may have siphoned off some votes that would have gone to Long.

The biggest question now appears to be how much support Goodman can get in this area- especially Newton and McDonald counties, since he is likely to do extremely well in Lawrence, Barry, and Taney counties.

Nodler needs to hold Newton and McDonald counties and dominate Jasper County to have even an outside shot of winning.
