Offensive lineman Allen Barbre, cut adrift by the Green Bay Packers prior to the start of this season, tried out with the Houston Texans, but has not been signed according to web sources.
Barbre played at East Newton High School and Missouri Southern State University, and started nine games for the Packers during the 2009 season.
