The video has been pulled from YouTube. It seems odd that Fox News would want to pull an example of excellent interviewing by Wallace. Despite the claim of the lawsuit, the video did not make it appear that Wallace was supporting Blunt, but made Wallace appear as exactly what he is- a smart, tough questioner.
“We stand behind our ad,” Carnahan campaign spokesman Linden Zakula said in a statement. “It’s unclear why Fox News refuses to stand by its own content that simply asked questions about Congressman Blunt’s Washington record.”
FOX news is republican. Pure and simple. They never intend to make a repuke look bad, but this one must have slipped up on them. FOX news and the Tea Party are both equally worthless.
ReplyDeleteIsn't there such a thing as copyright laws? Maybe Fox News is just defending their creative property. Remember the disclosure before pro sports games (i.e. NFL, NBA, etc.)? "You may not record, re-show, or distribute without authorized consent." I would think the same applies to other television programs. It may be broadcast across the airwaves to the public, but that doesn't mean it's fair game to use how you please.
ReplyDeleteLooked to me like the Fox News banner was clearly disclosed in the commercial.
ReplyDeleteSo, is not a Fox News interview of a politician fair game to be used as anyone wants to to further report the content of the interview?
It is just another example of Fox not wanting for the truth to come out. They are so far right that they are not even looked upon as a "news source". People think just because they are on TV and use a news format that they can be trusted to present facts. They are wrong. It had to go to the Supreme Court to establish that it is okay to lie and they sure practice that right.
ReplyDeleteThe latest reports are suggesting that the commercial for Robin makes it look like Wallace is endorsing Carnahan. What a crock!
ReplyDeleteAll I get from the commercial is Wallace asking a very important question of Roy Blunt and Roy's response being the 'deer in the headlight look.'
Funnier 'en hell!
