As we rapidly approach the November election, Robin Carnahan is becoming even more desperate in her attempts to shift the focus away from her rubberstamp support for the liberal agenda. Carnahan’s desperation is apparent in the increasingly deceitful and vicious tone of her campaign advertising.
Last week, Carnahan ran an ad that falsely claimed that Roy Blunt was the top recipient of lobbyist donations (in fact, Democrats Harry Reid, Blanche Lincoln, and Chuck Schumer sit atop that list). Now, Carnahan is running a new ad in which she watches as a likeness of a U.S. Congressman is knocked over by bulls. During the ad, she also complains that Missourians are focusing on her support for unpopular liberal policies.
In addition, the St Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting that the farm in the ad doesn’t belong to Carnahan—those were not her bulls, but her Obama link is undeniable.
“Robin Carnahan can complain all she wants about the scrutiny she is receiving because of her blind support for the reckless Obama agenda. But this campaign is about the issues that matter most to Missourians, and why Carnahan has sided with Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi on every major component of their extreme agenda,” said Lloyd Smith, Executive Director of the Missouri Republican Party. “Robin Carnahan stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Barack Obama when he came to Kansas City to raise money for her—but now she complains that people are pointing out her support for his unpopular polices like government takeover of health care, job-killing cap-and-tax legislation, the failed stimulus, and much more. The choice in this election is clear: Robin Carnahan, who will support the same liberal policies that Americans are rejecting, or Roy Blunt, who will help put a stop to the reckless liberal agenda.”
There is no denying the fact that Robin Carnahan has announced her rubberstamp support for every major component of the reckless Obama agenda—from the government takeover of health care to job-killing cap-and-tax to the failed stimulus, and much more. But this ad, which was described as “desperate” by a liberal member of the Kansas City Star editorial board, makes is clear that she has no desire to talk about the issues that matter most to Missourians.
That’s why it is time to demand answers. Missourians can visit www.questionsforcarnahan.com, the Missouri Republican Party’s newest website, launched today, that allows them to ask questions and demand answers from Robin Carnahan.

Missouri GOP; Robin's becoming desperate
The Missouri Republican Party is back at it again, once again mentioning the word "lobbyist" in a news release supporting Roy Blunt. Not the wisest tactic:
