The battle royal we all have anticipated since Billy Long ascended to Congressman-elect began this week as the former auctioneer squared off with the woman he described as evil incarnate (or words with fewer syllables to that effect). I can't wait to see how he handles Barack Obama.
Photo to the left comes from the Greene County Democratic Party Facebook page, which indicates it was sent by Billy Long to the media.
In the video at bottom, Long tells how he will battle Nancy Pelosi when he gets to Washington.

Two words: "Boss Hogg."
ReplyDelete'Nuff sed.
I can't wait to get that clown out of there in two years
ReplyDeleteThe guy is a joke. Truly embarrassing. He's a real testament to his district.
ReplyDeleteObviously Billy Long doesn't have the common sense former Governor Matt Blunt claimed he had. The Pelosi picture was one of the first he sent home, and it's not the kind of think Republicans and conservatives wanted to see of their "fed up" representative. All smiles with Pelosi, Billy? I mean really?
ReplyDeleteThat's the funny thing about this photo. It showed up in the News-Leader with the tag line "submitted photo".
ReplyDeleteI asked Stoeffler (SN-L editor) who submitted it.
His reply: "Because we did not have access to a photographer, we asked Billy Long if he would share some of his snapshots and those were the two he chose to send."
Billy Long CHOSE to send that photo of him and Pelosi to the SN-L for the article.
ah jeez.
The first photo Long sends back to the folks in MO 7 is a photo of him and Pelosi?
ReplyDeleteThe woman he demonized in the campaign?
The guy's acting like a star-struck high-schooler!
Oh wait, the Kansas City Star noted that already.
Please, Colonel (Don't Call Me Congressman) Long, don't do anything to embarrass us in Washington.
ReplyDeleteI mean anything more than what you have already done.
