Kinder picks up $27,000 in oversized contributions

Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder, expected to run for governor next year, picked up another $27,000 in oversized contributions today, according to 48-hour filings with the Missouri Ethics Commission.

Kinder received $10,000 each from the CNS Corporation, Kansas City, and Kit Bond's new employer, the Thompson Coburn law firm of St. Louis.

The other $7,000 came from this corner of the state, from the Southwest Missouri Leadership PAC, which has been closely associated with Sen. Ron Richard, R-Joplin.
