The Missouri House debated a bill sponsored by Rep. Ward Franz, R-West Plains, which would place resrictions on funeral protests, such as the ones held at funerals of American soldiers by members of the Westboro Baptist Church.
As you might expect, the First Amendment was a key factor in the debate.
