More snow on the way, winter weather advisory issued

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TUESDAY TO 6 PM
CST WEDNESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TUESDAY
TO 6 PM CST WEDNESDAY. 

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...ALONG AND NORTH OF A BAXTER SPRINGS
KANSAS TO JOPLIN TO STOCKTON TO OSCEOLA MISSOURI LINE FROM EARLY
TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 5 INCHES WITH LOCALIZED HIGHER AMOUNTS.

* WINDS AND VISIBILITY...SUSTAINED WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MPH WILL
CAUSE SOME MINOR BLOWING AND DRIFTING.

* IMPACTS...ACCUMULATING SNOW COULD RESULT IN SLICK ROAD
CONDITIONS ACROSS THE AREA...ESPECIALLY TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH
WEDNESDAY.
