"Football, it's something we all love doing and helping other people is always, everyone should help a little bit. Helping other people out when they're down and try and help build them up," said Jerry Franklin a senior linebacker with the Razorbacks.
"We were very excited," Jake Baquette a senior defensive end with the Razorbacks. "Our weight room coaches told us that we had a chance to come up here a few days ago and everyone was making plans."
On this hot and muggy afternoon the Razorbacks weren't lifting in the weight room, but they were lifting to help their neighbors to the north by sorting clothes, carrying water and helping tornado victims gather things that they needed.
"It's just a very special opportunity for us as a team to come together and just help a community that's going through a tough time," said Bequette.
"This may not be a big thing, but as long as you do something to make somebody's life a little better," Franklin said.

Arkansas Razorbacks assist in tornado recovery
