Rose Fogarty, St. Lou Crew bring toys, hope to Joplin after tornado

The world responded after a tornado wiped out a third of Joplin on May 22, and some never stopped helping in the seven months since. One of those is Rose Fogarty, who originally came to Joplin after hearing of the search for Joplin High School senior Will Norton and has worked with the St. Lou Crew to help Joplin ever since.

Mrs. Fogarty and the St. Lou Crew were in Joplin Friday and Saturday to deliver toys and she was kind enough to stop by the signing for 5:41: Stories of the Joplin Tornado yesterday at Hastings. Mrs. Fogarty's account of how she came to Joplin is one of the stories included in our book.

In the accompanying video, she talks about the toy drive and her decision to come to Joplin after the tornado.
