Unbelievable! Jopin schools were fully insured. In addition, they received millions of dollars in donations from all over the world.
Who do they think they are?
They are also forcing land holders off their properties to construct campuses far too large for their needs.

It would appear you've never filed a property damage claim.

Plus I doubt they had the sort of business continuity insurance that would have sufficiently helped them when they had to spend a terrific amount of money to simply open their doors last August. What about the extra buses and miles traveled? Does their insurance cover their overheard in running such a big set of construction projects?

I wonder if Joplin, in total, is becoming part of the "entitlement" segment of our society. I hear that everyone is the whole area will see a rise in their insurance because of the Joplin tornado..Ours went up 40%..We didn't cause the tornado, but it looks like we're helping pay for it...we have given time and money and effort and now we are being force to pay through rises in our insurance. If you live near Joplin and got an insurance bill in the last month or two, I would like to know if it was raised as much as ours. I know this sounds unsympathic, but someone has to say it.
