Former Jasper County Public Administrator Rita Hunter waived the reading of her indictment and pleaded not guilty to ten counts of fraud and two counts of theft today in U. S. District Court in Springfield. She remains free on a recognizance bond.

Mra. Hunter is being represented by a public defender.

Are you kidding me? Not guilty HA! Maybe she is going for insanity! Bring it on, ready for some more entertainment. Do they allow popcorn in the courtroom?
