The accompanying video features the Jan. 28 dedication ceremony for the new house built for the Stephanie Dalton family, described as "a house built by God." The video was posted this morning on YouTube.
The home became a reality thanks to volunteers and contributions from the community of West Central, Ill.
Initially, it had appeared that the Dalton family would have to contribute $20,000 to $30,000 for the home, but that money was covered through the generosity of West Central.
Stephanie Dalton is a widow with three children. Her husband died several years ago from cancer. The May 22 tornado not only destroyed her home, but also her source of income since she operated a daycare business from the home.
