The second attempt by former State Rep. Ed Emery, R-Lamar, to get elected to the State Senate received a major financial boost today.
Ethelmae Humphreys, chairman of the board for TAMKO, Joplin, contributed $50,000 to Emery, according to a 48-hour report filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
Emery faces Scott Largent of Clinton and Dave Morris of Peculiar in the August primary.
Do you think old Ed will be as big an obstructionist in the Missouri Senate as he was in the General Assembly?
ReplyDeleteCome on Ethelmae, quit wasting money on politics and do something spectacular for the community. You've raised enough money screwing the consumer on roofing products to have the money to do it, something spectacular that is.
Why the recovery effort in Joplin alone is expected to increase the sales of TAMKO by more than $700 million dollars.
Completely untrue. TAMKO donates time and money to their communities. Here is an article on them. Read at the bottom the FACTS on TAMKO. All of the information is 100% verifiable. Working WITH and not for TAMKO for years now, I have spoken to many employees of TAMKO and many people in the communities of TAMKO facilities and they are very passionate about TAMKO. So much so that I, who never comment on ridiculous, "glass half emply comments" felt the need to take time out of my busy day to post some facts

Completely untrue and false. Read this. TAMKO gives back more than any other company I have worked with.
