Former State Rep. Ed Emery, R-Lamar, a candidate for state senate, received another big cash infusion from one of his two multi-millionaire (or billionaire) sugar daddies today.
The Missouri Club for Growth, a group which has been almost entirely funded by Rex Sinquefield contributed another $40,000 to Emery, according to a 48-hour report filed today with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
So far, Emery has received $80,000 from the Club for Growth, as well as $100,000 from the Humphreys family of TAMKO in Joplin.
