New Facebook Page: Jovan Belcher RIP: Once a Chief, always a Chief

A new Facebook page pushing the idea that Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher, 25, who murdered his girlfriend and then shot himself to death, should always be considered a member of the Chiefs family already has 33 likes after being started less than 10 minutes ago.

The page is entitled "Jovan Belcher RIP: Once a Chief, Always a Chief," and begins with this statement:

This page is to remember Jovan. PLEASE do not come on here with hatred and disrespect I understand what he did was wrong but have respect please. I am also making a memory page for his girlfriend as soon as I get her name. Thank you. condolences to the families.

At the least, this appears to be a bit misguided.
