Storm heading into southwest Missouri

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP FOR A TIME TUESDAY
AFTERNOON ACROSS SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI.
A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL IMPACT THE CENTRAL UNITED STATES
FROM WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY...BRINGING A WIDE VARIETY OF
POTENTIAL WEATHER HAZARDS.
ENOUGH INSTABILITY WILL BE PRESENT FOR THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. A FEW OF THESE STORMS COULD
BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE ACROSS SOUTHERN MISSOURI.
SOME SNOW MAY THEN WRAP AROUND THIS SYSTEM INTO PORTIONS OF THE
OUTLOOK AREA LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING. THE BULK
AND HEAVIEST ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL REMAIN WELL NORTH OF THE
AREA. ONLY LIGHT SNOW IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE MISSOURI OZARKS AND
SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND SHOULD GENERALLY MELT AS IT FALLS. SOME
MINOR ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
MISSOURI WILL THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE FOR A VERY LIGHT DUSTING
OF SNOW OCCURRING.
GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL OCCUR AHEAD OF THIS STORM SYSTEM ON
WEDNESDAY WITH BRISK AND GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS EXPECTED BEHIND
THE SYSTEM ON THURSDAY.
