The nationally syndicated Katie Couric Show will feature the Joplin High School and East Middle School bands next week, reminding viewers of the $300,000 worth of instruments singer Barry Manilow donated to the school after the May 22, 2011, Joplin Tornado, and updating the country on how our bands are doing.
