Tony's Kansas City: Sen. Curls received more than $33,000 from lobbyists

One of the state's top blogs, Tony's Kansas City, built on the story of the lobbyists' gifts received by Sen. Shalonn "Kiki" Curls, D-Kansas City:

"She had received $33,176 total from lobbyists. From 2007-2011 she received $13,4462. In the two years since becoming State Senator she has received $19,713. 
"That's not counting the funding from lobbyists that goes to the Missouri Legislative Black Caucus Foundation, where Sen. Curls serves as President."

    This isn't much money. I mean it's not like she is a high-dollar hooker. Kind of a cheap one.
