Ed Emery: Teachers are indoctrinating our students

In this podcast, which was posted today, Sen. Ed Emery, R-Lamar, talks about education, including his belief that Missouri teachers are indoctrinating the students and telling them what to think instead of teaching them how to think.

It would appear more likely that the senator thinks the problem is that children are not being taught what Ed Emery wants them to think.

He also extolls the virtues of virtual schools and the need for competition (vouchers and business-operated charter schools) in education.
