At the NRA Convention this weekend, Wayne LaPierre let it be known his organization is not going to back down as it fights for every American's right to own assault wearpons and magazines that can fire 30 bullets before reloading.
LaPierre indicates that the NRA also won't back down when it comes to opposing legislation to make sure all gun sales have background checks since, of course, that is the first step to the federal government sneaking up in the dead of night to take our guns.
It appears that guns don't kill people, Wayne LaPierre does.
Randy.... I don't know you. have never attended Joplin schools ( thank God.. after reading about all the strong arm tactics of Dr B and the administration). And I genuinely feel empathy for you in concern with the administrative leave situation you currently fund yourself in. I find it horrible that a relatively small group of people who are in power can so strongly influence, sway, and take away your rights.
ReplyDeleteI find it incredibly ironic that you fail to see how the federal government, a relatively small group ( compared to the US populous), had the power to so strongly influence and sway your personal opinion on the second amendment to the US Constitution.
You and I both have guaranteed constitutional rights, that we should never be in fear of losing. similar to how you are being coerced and ushered out the door because you don't fit the profile required for a new era of socialistic educating that looms over us (common core); this federal administration seeks to further another socialistic ideology by ushering the intended purpose of the second amendment out the door. All for the purpose of power and control. After all citizens with firearms would be a threat to a tyrannical government regime. Albeit at different scales... it's ironically similar to the Joplin school district administration's desire to remove you. Why? because they view you as a threat to their agenda. Hits awful close to home doesn't it?
