Jane Cunningham: Tim Jones was right to punish Republicans who disagreed with him on education

Like her sister after the house fell on her, former Sen. Jane Cunningham, R-Chesterfield, at one time public enemy number one to those of us in public education, can't stay out of the fray.

In a column for the Columbia Missourian, Mrs. Cunningham praises Speaker of the House Tim Jones' petty act of removing Republican representatives who disagreed with him on recent education votes.

To Mrs. Cunningham's way of thinking, the representatives who were removed were guilty of pandering to special interests (the people of Missouri) while Tim Jones is fighting the good fight for retired billionaire Rex Sinquefield and Michelle Rhee's misnamed Students First organization:

Republicans who can't vote for platform principles should be removed from committee positions and replaced by those with the courage to vote by the clear evidence and crying need. These members are proving they misrepresented themselves as Republicans to voters and to House leadership. Speaker Tim Jones deserves our highest praise and support for bringing discipline to those who selfishly put their own easy re-election above all else.

Jane cunningham sooooo wants to be in pubklic office she ran and got a seat on the Monarch Fire Department board which serves Chesterfield and parts of west St. Louis county. If she had her way she would have 14 year olds working for the fire department part time(remember that bill)to save rich taxpayer's money. She absolutely cannot leave things alone. My father always siad "Fools nmes and fools faces are always found in public places". Fits Ms. Cunningham.
